Background information on the transmission:
The ESA TV Service provides broadcasters with B-Roll material of the launch preparations of ESA’s Envisat Satellite scheduled for launch on 28 February 2002.
This first transmission of images is scheduled to comprise of the following:
Envisat filling operations in Kourou
Envisat mounted on Ariane 5
Envisat Fairing closure (with Envisat logo)
Start of roll-out to launch pad
The footage carries clean international sound only.
