Background information on the transmission:

This programme is the 2nd in a series of three ESA TV Exchanges about views of the Earth from Space.

This programme will present images of the satellites images of the Earth which show phenomena invisible to the naked eye or the optical lens in Space, but which a satellite instruments can detect, record and convert into a form which enables us to see far beyond a photographic image. This includes phenomena like flood mapping, algae blooming, vegetation monitoring and assessment of natural risk like Earthquakes.

The 5-minute A-roll contains split audio with an English guide track and is complemented by a B-roll with international sound only. The script is on-line as of the day of transmission, as a PDF document under http://television.esa.int/photos/EbS23649.pdf
