Make Your Plans For 2002 Birmingham DPS — It’s Not Too Late!
The extended deadline for abstracts:

     15 August 2002  9:00 p.m. EDT

allows us an extended opportunity to cordially invite you

to attend the 2002 DPS meeting in Birmingham.  We have a

very full and complete website for the meeting:

         http://csem.engin.umich.edu/dps/

 (Due to the late change in venue the Local Organizing

  Committee had decided that all notification was to be

  fully electronic — we apologize for any confusion this

  may have caused.)
The Civic Center meeting facilities are extremely spacious and

the hotel accommodations are affordable and convenient to this

meeting site.  The planning is proceeding smoothly and we hope

that you will join us!  Special events include a reception on

Sunday at the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute and a  banquet

on Wednesday at the Birmingham Zoo.  Early meeting registration

will close on September 10th at 9 pm EDT. Please pay special

attention to completing the website surveys concerning  tours

that are offered, workshop opportunities, and the exhibitor

request form.
