CALL FOR NOMINATIONS
Decadal Survey on Biological and Physical Sciences Research in Space 2023-2032

The Decadal Survey on Biological and Physical Sciences Research in Space is now accepting nominations for the Engineering and Science Interface Panel.  This panel will examine scientific and performance options for potential research and campaign priorities, including those related to capability development and facility and platform requirements. The panel’s work will support the development of research strategies for advancing the frontiers of biological and physical sciences research in space while considering such factors as timing, cost category and cost risk, technical readiness, and technical risk.

Nominations must be received through this form by November 1, 2021 for full consideration.

CALL FOR INPUT
Submit a White Paper to the Decadal Survey

Share your thoughts on key science priorities and mission ideas for the coming decade of research in space by submitting a white paper to the Decadal Survey on Biological and Physical Sciences Research in Space 2023-2032. The success of the decadal survey depends on input from a broad range of disciplines and research communities.

The call for white papers is two-fold:

  • Topical White Papers focused on single research topics are due by October 31, 2021.
  • Research Campaign White Papers that address broad goals and spanning multiple topics are due by December 23, 2021.
Learn more about the decadal survey process and how to write effective white papers, by checking out the recordings from our two-part webinar series here.

Download the full white paper guidelines and submit white papers on the study website.

Please note that all submitted white papers will be made publicly available on the study website.  White paper authors should make sure their submissions contain no ITAR, proprietary, or confidential information.
