“Our inland traverse yesterday went well and we are now camped at Lake Untersee. It will take couple of days to get the camp organized, but we have most of the tents up which is perhaps the mat important thing for us to accomplish in the short term – the weather is nice right now, but that could change quickly.”

“We had a pretty solid days worth of work today. The camp is about 75% together now, we just need to put up the science tent and the dive tent tomorrow. The weather is continues to be nice (-5°C) with little wind and the current forecast has this weather pattern with us until Thursday….we shall see, but for now we will take it since it makes getting things done much easier. Everyone was pretty tired this evening, and after dinner and the 8:15 coms with Novo Station to let them know we are ok, everyone went to bed – tomorrow will be another busy day.”
