Background information on the transmission:
Yesterday and today, the Ministers responsible for space from the 15 ESA Member States and Canada are meeting in Edinburgh to set the course for the development of Europe’s space programme for the next five years.
Today, on the second day of the council meeting, the following live transmissions are scheduled:
12:05-12:30 GMT – Replay of day 1 debriefing, by Edelgard Bulmahn (Chairwoman of 2001 Ministerial Council and German Minister of Research and Education), and
Antonio Rodota (ESA Director General). This debriefing was recorded on 14 November, 19:45-20:10 GMT.
13:15-13:30 GMT (approximate) – Live transmission of press update by Franco Bonacina, spokesperson of ESA Director General.
Not before 14:00 GMT – Live transmission of the final press conference from Edinburgh International Conference Centre to include Edelgard Bulmahn (Chairwoman of 2001 Ministerial Council and German Minister of Research and Education), Lord Sainsbury (Minister, Department of Trade and Industry) and Antonio Rodota (ESA Director General).
Please note the times of live transmissions are subject to change depending on the progress of the Ministerial Council meeting. In the event of the final press conference starting much later than 14:00 GMT, a new mailing will be made.
