Conrad Foundation’s second annual Innovation Summit

The Conrad Foundation’s second annual Innovation Summit at NASA Ames Research Center was a tremendous success. But this isn’t the only thing that NASA does. NASA Ames research center is at the heart of new, cutting edge innovations that attracts talent and fosters creativity and innovation in coming up with products and ideas that bring solutions to real life global issues in climate change, global poverty, emergency response just to name a few.

From Bloom Energy’s solid oxide fuel cell technology that provides cleaner energy to Jibbigo an iPhone app that translates language back and forth (used to aid relief efforts in Haiti after the January earthquake), to a new venture Bright Green Energy (BGE) a microcredit program focused on empowering communities in Bangladesh through training women.
