Congressman Jim Bridenstine to Deliver Keynote Address at 20th Annual Satellite Industry Assocation Leadership Dinner

The Satellite Industry Association (SIA) today announced that Congressman Jim Bridenstine (OK-1) will deliver a keynote address at SIA’s 20 th Annual Satellite Leadership Dinner. The Congressman joins fellow keynote speaker, FCC Commissioner Michael O’Rielly at this year’s Dinner which will take place on March 6th at the Andrew W.Mellon Auditorium in Washington, D.C.

Congressman Bridenstine was elected in 2012 to represent Oklahoma’s First Congressional District. He serves on the House Armed Services Committee where he is member of the Strategic Forces subcommittee. The Congressman also serves on the Science, Space and Technology Committee where he is a member of the Space subcommittee. Last year, Rep. Bridenstine introduced the American Space Renaissance Act, legislation designed to permanently secure the United States as the world’s preeminent space faring nation. The SIA Leadership Dinner is held annually during SATELLITE Week in Washington, DC. For two decades, SIA has gathered satellite industry executives and government officials in order to recognize the important role the commercial satellite industry plays both domestically and abroad and to honor individuals who have demonstrated long-term leadership and dedication to public service on issues affecting the industry.
