Background information on the transmission:

On Thursday 18 January, a press conference will take place at the European Astronaut Centre in Cologne, Germany to give media a chance to meet the ESA astronaut Thomas Reiter, of Germany, after completion of his Astrolab mission on 22 December.

ESA-TV will provide a live broadcast of the press conference, with the following speakers:

Prof. Sigmar Wittig, Chairman of the ESA Council and Director General of the German Space Agency, DLR

Michel Tognini, Head of the European Astronaut Centre EAC

Thomas Reiter, ESA Astronaut

The speakers will speak in German and English. The live transmission will feature two audio channels: international audio and English interpretation

The line-up time for this SCPC feed is 5 minutes.
