We’re excited to announce our new coalition partnership with Million Girls Moonshot! As we continue our mission to engage students and teachers with exciting, hands-on STEM programs, collaboration with like-minded organizations like Million Girls Moonshot is key to reaching more learners and educators.

Million Girls Moonshot, a movement of the STEM Next Opportunity Fund, seeks to re-imagine who can engineer, who can build, who can make. It will inspire and prepare the next generation of innovators by engaging one million more girls in STEM learning opportunities through afterschool and summer programs over the next 5 years.

The Moonshot is active in out-of-school programs in all 50 states, leveraging the Mott-funded 50 State Afterschool Network, which has access to more than 10 million youth and 100,000 afterschool programs across the country.

According to a Pew Research Study, women continue to be underrepresented in physical sciences, computing, and engineering jobs. Through partnerships like this, we are taking another step to further strengthen our efforts to inspire and excite girls about STEM while encouraging them to pursue STEM studies and careers.
