Entitled Medium-class Explorers (MIDEX) and Missions of Opportunity
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) Office
of Space Science is posting an amendment to its Announcement
of Opportunity (AO) 01-OSS-03, entitled “Medium -class Explorers
(MIDEX) and Missions of Opportunity”, issued July 16, 2001.
The amendment extends the proposal opportunity period from
October 12 to October 30, 2001. Proposals must be received
by 4 p.m. ET on October 30, 2001; all other proposal submission
requirements remain unchanged. The amendment is available electronically
via the World Wide Web site http://research.hq.NASA.gov/ (select
“Office of Space Science”). Additional information may be obtained
from Dr. Paul Hertz, Explorer Program Scientist, Code SZ, Office
of Space Science, NASA Headquarters, Washington, DC 20546-0001.
