Background information on the transmission:

On 3 April the “Jules Verne” Automated Tranfer Vehicle (ATV) makes its first ever docking attempt with the International Space Station. Before the live video transmission on 3 April (between 14:00 and 15:00)a Video News Release will be broadcast on the ATV mission and its ultimate technology for space Rendez Vous.

Further announcements/timings will follow for full detail of mission coverage and all further events. Please monitor ESA TV on the ESA website and further ESA announcements as the mission timeline may change.

This feed will be available for MPEG2 download via ftp: Server name: esa.contentcoders.com Login: esa Password/userid: ftp4esa Please be informed that the file will be too big to access via a web browser and that you need to use a ftp download manager.

The line-up time for ESA SCPC feeds is – 5 minutes.

Transmission details:

Eutelsat Atlantic Bird 1 (AB1) at 12.5degW, Transponder B1, Channel B, Freq = 10969.17MHz, Pol = horizontal,SR = 6.1113 Ms/s, FEC = 3/4, signal MPEG2 4:2:0 in the clear.

Audio: English track #1, French commentary track #2 , International audio clean feed track #3.
