Applications are currently being accepted for athletic training internships at Kennedy Space Center. Junior- or senior-level undergraduates enrolled in an athletic training program may apply. Interns will work for the center’s RehabWorks Program. RehabWorks is a free, on-site, musculoskeletal rehabilitation service for employees suffering from both work- and non-work-related injuries. The internship will last one semester — approximately 14 to 16 weeks — and will involve selected students in all activities of the program.

The internship is part of the Kennedy Space Center Volunteer Services Program. Although the opportunity is not a paid internship, participants will gain valuable experience in a corporate and industrial work setting.

Two internship positions are offered each fall, spring and summer semester. Applications are due June 29, 2007, for the fall 2007 semester internships.
