Astrobiology Academy funded by UK Space Agency

The UKCA’s astrobiology academy ( www.astrobiologyacademy.org  ), an initiative to produce curriculum materials for primary and secondary schools has been supported for 2017 by the UK Space Agency.

The Astrobiology Academy began in 2013 and has produced both school units and lesson plans in its ‘Astrobiology in the Classroom’ resource. In 2017 it will work closely with the National Space Centre to provide CPD events for primary and secondary school teachers.

The Astrobiology Academy is accepting registrations for its three day CPD in July 2017 and interested teachers, newly qualified teachers and graduate teachers can register through the website link above.
