Arianespace Launch Update: Flight 137 & Flight 138

Checks requested by Alcatel Space on Turksat 2A/Eurasiasat mean that the satellite must be returned to the S3 preparation building in Kourou to perform the necessary investigations.

A new launch date will be set early next week in agreement with the customer, once the investigations have been completed.

Flight 138: December 19

The next Arianespace flight will use an Ariane 5 (AR 508) to orbit the Astra 2D, Aurora III/GE-8 and LDREX satellites.

The launch will take place during the night of Tuesday, Dec. 19 to Wednesday, Dec. 20, in the following launch window:

  • 9:26 to 10:09 p.m., local time in Kourou
  • 00:26 to 01:09 GMT
  • 1:26 to 2:09 a.m., Paris
