Arianespace Flight 144: Ariane 4 is in the launch zone

Arianespace Flight 144’s Ariane 4 has moved to the launch zone at Europe’s
Spaceport as the mission continues on schedule for a September 25 liftoff.

Flight 144 will use an Ariane 44P, which is equipped with four solid
strap-on boosters added to the first stage. The mission payload is
Eutelsat’s Atlantic BirdTM 2, which will offer high-power, single-hop
communications from the Americas to Continental Europe, North Africa and the
Middle East.
