Arianespace Flight 143: August 9: Ariane 4 moves to the launch zone

Flight 143’s Ariane 4 was transferred from the vertical assembly building to
the launch zone, taking the mission one major step closer to liftoff.

The nearly complete vehicle emerged from the assembly facility in the ELA-2
complex at 7:35 a.m., and it covered the approximately 1 km. distance to the
launch zone in 25 minutes. Flight 143 is set for launch at the end of this
month, carrying the Intelsat 902 satellite.
