Arianespace Flight 137: Launch of Turksat 2A/Eurasiasat 1 Slated for January 8, 2001

Arianespace has authorized the January 3 resumption of launch preparations for Flight 137. This followed the completion of additional checks by Alcatel Space on the missionís T¸rksat 2A/Eurasiasat 1 satellite payload.

Liftoff of Flight 137ís Ariane 44P launcher is now scheduled from the Spaceport in Kourou, French Guiana on Monday, January 8, as early as possible in the following launch window:
