This week’s TV Footage transmission will be a compilation of launch, docking and in-flight images transmitted 21-23 October from the Andromëde mission, in five items as follows:

11:00-11:10 GMT Andromëde final launch preparations in Baikonur, including sound bites by Claudie Haignerè and her husband, the former astronaut Jean-Paul Haigneré, recorded on 19 October 2001

11:10-11:20 GMT Andromëde launch: tracking shots lift-off, images from inside the capsule at lift-off, guests in Baikonur, Tsup control room images

11:20-11:30 GMT Andromëde docking: various views by cameras on the ISS and the Soyuz capsule of approach, Tsup control screen image of final docking.

11:30-11:45 GMT: Andromëde ingress: views of French prime minister Jospin in Tsup control centre, views opening of hatch with the ISS, ingress into ISS, welcome of the Andromëde Crew by the ISS Expedition Three Crew

11:45-12:00 GMT: First Andromëde in-flight connection: Claudie Haignerè’s daughter and mother plus several ESA and CNES officials as well as French parliamentarians talking to the astronauts. Statement by Claudie Haignerè to French prime minister (French).
