Amendment: Due Dates updated for NASA Research Announcement (NRA) 80JSC018N0001-SANS

Countermeasures for Mitigation of Spaceflight Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome

 

 

NASA’s Human Research Program (HRP) released the NRA 80JSC018N0001-SANS “Countermeasures for Mitigation of Spaceflight Associated Neuro-ocular Syndrome” that solicits applied research in support of HRP goals and objectives on November 30, 2018.  The relevant dates for this appendix have been amended as seen below.  All other terms and conditions of the appendix remain unchanged.

 

Step-1 Response Period: November 30, 2018 –  January 17  January 30, 2019

Pre-Proposers Conference: December 17, 2018

Step-1 Proposals Due:  January 17  January 30, 2019, 5 PM Eastern Time

Step-1 Notification of Proposal Invitation Status: February 4  February 14, 2019

Step-2 Response Period: February 4  February 14, 2019 – April 4  April 11, 2019

Step-2 Proposals Due: April 4  April 11, 2019, 5 PM Eastern Time

Estimated Step-2 Selection Announcement: September 2019

As stated above, Appendix C Step-1 proposals are now due January 30, 2019. Invited Appendix C Step-2 proposals will now be due April 11, 2019. The invitation notification date will change to February 14, 2019.

 

All categories of United States (U.S.) institutions are eligible to submit proposals in response to the NRA. Principal Investigators may collaborate with universities, Federal Government laboratories, the private sector, and state and local government laboratories. In all such arrangements, the applying entity is expected to be responsible for administering the project according to the management approach presented in the proposal. NASA’s policy is to conduct research with non-U.S. organizations on a cooperative, no exchange-of-funds basis.
