After the tragedy of Shuttle Columbia, media and the public alike aks questions about the presence of humans in space. This is the second of 2 ESA TV Exchanges on this issue, and it presents reasons for Europe continuing human spaceflight, using the International Space Station as a starting point to further explore the Universe.
Soundbites feature ESA’s Director of Human Spaceflight, Jörg E. Feustel-Büechl, and Belgian ESA astronaut Frank De Winne, the last European to have visited the ISS.
The programme comprises of a 5 minute A-roll with split audio (English commentary/international sound) and is complimented by a B-Roll with clean international sound.
