First Call for Papers

23-27 July 2006, Beijing, China

You are welcome to participate in the 8th ILEWG Conference on Exploration and Utilization of the Moon which will be held in Beijing, China on 23-27 July 2006 and jointly sponsored by China National Space Administration (CNSA), the International Lunar Exploration Working Group (ILEWG) and European Space Agency (ESA). The local organizer is the Lunar Exploration Program Center (LEPC) of CNSA with the assistance of Center for Space Science and Applied Research of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CSSAR), Chinese Society for Astronautics and China Aerospace Engineering Consultation Center (CAECC).

Important deadlines

The deadline for the abstract submission will be 20 April 2006. All abstracts should be submitted by email to: cnsacnsa.gov.cn (with copy to Bernard.Foingesa.int), or by FAX: 86-10-88306153 The authors are invited to use the Abstract Template (see documentation on right-hand side) for minimizing efforts in paper formatting. The authors of the accepted abstracts for oral and poster presentations will be noticed by 20 May 2006.

Presentation

Oral presentations are limited to 25 min followed by 5 min discussion. Overhead and slide (5×5 cm) projectors will be available. Computer aiding presentations will be provided.

Language

English will be the official language of the conference. No translation service will be provided.

Registration

Participants will have to register electronically through web site which will be announced later. However, in the case of any difficulties, you can send Registration Form to the Conference Secretariat no later than June 15, 2006 by fax or e-mail.

Registration fees

Regular………. EURO 400.-

Student………. EURO 295.-

The registration fee includes attendance to all sessions, roundtables, conference excursion, lunch, Inaugural Dinner and the brochure of Abstract and Program.
