Today: Force Shoes: Flight Engineer (FE)-5 Wiseman conducted an Advanced Resistive Exercise Device (ARED) exercise session using Force Shoes which were calibrated during Treadmill 2 (T2) exercise last week. The data from the ARED exercise session will be used to measure the loads experienced during ARED exercise.
Robonaut Operations: Commander (CDR) Swanson continued with Robonaut upgrade operations, first removing old components and re-routing cables, then installing a new mobility adapter and repairing the motion stop connector. He also removed various cards and processors. The Robonaut upgrades are preparation for installing legs on Robonaut for mobility operations.

Minus Eighty Degree Celsius Laboratory Freezer for ISS (MELFI) Electronic Unit (EU) Installation: Wiseman installed a MELFI EU delivered on Orb-2 into the spare EU location in MELFI-1. The MELFI is a cold storage unit that maintains experiment samples at ultra-cold temperatures until those samples can be returned to the ground for analysis.

Japanese Experiment Module (JEM) Low Temperature Loop (LTL) Pump Package Remove & Replace (R&R): On January 14, 2014, the JEM LTL pump upstream Remote Power Controller (RPC) tripped due to over current detection downstream of the RPC. Troubleshooting was performed, resulting in a recommendation to R&R the pump. Yesterday Gerst disengaged cabin ducts from the Environmental Control and Life Support System (ECLSS)/Thermal Control System (TCS)1 rack and rotated the rack. He spent most of his day today R&Ring the failed pump using a spare pump delivered on Orb-2,

On-Board Training (OBT) Cygnus Capture Debrief: USOS crew members participated in a conference with ground teams to discuss Cygnus capture, timeline, approach procedures and suggestions for improvements in training or techniques that can be implemented in the future.

Preparations for 55 Progress (55P) Undock: The Russian crew completed the final loading of trash into 55P. The hatches between 55P and the ISS were closed and leak checks were completed. 55P undock is scheduled for Monday, July 21, 2014 at 4:44pm CDT.

Russian Router [???] Connection Issue – The crew reported a problem with the Russian router ??? on Wednesday. On Thursday, the Russian crew performed troubleshooting and declared the ??? unit failed. There is no spare on-board currently. Today the US and Russian crew performed a procedure to bypass the ??? and transition to the backup onboard Local Area Network (LAN) configuration in the Russian Segment using the old Service Module Wireless Access Point.

Sally Ride Earth Knowledge Acquired by Middle Schools (EarthKam) Set Up: The Sally Ride EarthKam equipment has been operating in the Service Module (SM) window since Monday, July 14. There have been some issues loading the commend files and retrieving the imagery due to the ??? issue and an intermittent connection to the network. With the swap back to the SM WAP, the connection is solid and operations have returned to nominal. This run of the experiment will conclude and the hardware will be stowed tomorrow. Sally Ride EarthKam is a NASA education program that enables thousands of students to photograph and examine Earth from a space crew’s perspective. Using the Internet, students control a special digital camera mounted onboard the ISS. This enables them to photograph the Earth’s coastlines, mountain ranges and other geographic items of interest from the unique vantage point of space. The team at Sally Ride EarthKAM then posts these photographs on the Internet for the public and participating classrooms around the world to view.
