SpaceX Successfully Launches Hispasat 30W-6 Satellite
Not long after midnight today, at 12:33 a.m. ET, SpaceX successfully launched the Hispasat 30W-6 satellite from the Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. It was the 50th launch for the Falcon 9.
According to SpaceX “the Hispasat 30W-6 satellite was deployed to a Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GTO) approximately 33 minutes after launch. SpaceX did not attempt to land Falcon 9’s first stage after launch due to unfavorable weather conditions in the recovery area off the Atlantic Coast.”
