Maxar Technologies to Split Into Two Separate Businesses

Imaging and satellite manufacturing company Maxar Technologies is splitting up into two companies and eliminating an unspecified number of executive positions, the company recently announced. A Maxar spokesperson confirmed that the company will be reorganizing into two separate business units with separate CEOs. This announcement comes less than five months after Maxar was acquired by private equity firm Advent International for $6.4 billion.
