FCC Issues First Ever Orbital Debris Fine Against DISH

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) has taken its first-ever orbital debris enforcement action by fining DISH $150,000 for failing to properly dispose of its EchoStar-7 direct-broadcast communications satellite.
