The satellite broadcasting industry has served the most critical demands of the media and entertainment sectors for decades. The relationship between these two industries has also pushed the innovative boundaries of content distribution channels to develop multiple new content revenue streams. In many regions of the world, satellite TV is still the main way of viewing video, though there is a gradual transition to the satellite broadband market due to the rapid adoption of Over-The-Top (OTT) content consumption.
