2014 International Astronautical Congress Heads of Agencies Panelists Confirmed
This years International Astronautical Congress, the 65th, will be held in Toronto, Canada between September 29th through October 3rd. Today with the program being finalized we can now confirm the panelists for the Heads of Agencies plenary.
The plenary will be held on Monday, September 29th between 13:30 – 15:00 in Hall F, level 800 of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
The moderator of the panel will be Berndt Feuerbacher, past President of the the International Astronautical Federation.
The Heads of Agencies plenary will see each representative provide an introductory presentation on the latest developments from their respective agency followed by a discussion on specific topics as well as an interactive question and answer session with the audience.
The panelists include:
– Walter Natyncyk, President, Canadian Space Agency (CSA), Canada
– Charles Bolden, Administrator, National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), United States
– Jean-Jacques Dordain, Director General, European Space Agency (ESA)
– Naoki Okumura, President, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), Japan
– K. Radhakrishnan, Chairman, Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), India
– Xu Dazhe, Administrator, China National Space Administration (CNSA), China
– Denis Lyskov, Government Secretary – Deputy Head, Federal Space Agency (ROSCOSMOS), Russia
