Wyle is a major part of a subcontractor team that will assist DB Consulting Group, Inc. on a follow-on contract it has received valued at up to $88 million to perform a variety of tasks, including computer science, computer and software engineering, security, networking, application development and web services at NASA’s Glenn Research Center.

Called the Professional, Administrative, Computational, and Engineering Services (PACE III) contract, the contract is due to begin in September. The total value of the indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, including a three-year base period of performance and one two-year option, is approximately $88 million.

DB Consulting Group’s team members include Wyle, Verizon, Information Dynamics, SGT and Alphaport. RS Information Systems, which was purchased by Wyle earlier this year, previously served as the prime but was excluded this time because the PACE III contract was completed as a small business set-aside for this procurement.

As the incumbent prime, Wyle Information Systems had been providing high quality services for NASA GRC under PACE II and its predecessor contract, PACE, for more than eight years. Under contract to the NASA Glenn Research Center Office of Chief Information Officer, Wyle has been responsible for all information technology support to the Center.

Wyle has provided excellent technical and project management support to all directorates and virtually all divisions of NASA GRC, adhering to more than 400 performance standards. Wyle supports secure network environments serving 4,500 scientific and business users, along with 50 networked buildings, and more than 20 external system interfaces.

Wyle Information Systems is recognized at Glenn Research Center and across NASA and other federal agencies for its expertise in information technology services, software and systems engineering, information technology security, facility data systems support, communications research and enterprise architecture.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, the Glenn Research Center is at the forefront of NASA world-class research, technology, and capability development efforts to advance exploration of our solar system and beyond. The Glenn center staff includes more than 3,000 professionals, including government employees and support services contractors.

Headquartered in Silver Spring, Md., DB Consulting Group also has the NASA Research and Education Support Services contract at NASA Headquarters. DB Consulting Group is an experienced 8(a) HUBZONE certified small business consulting firm that serves federal, state, and private sector clients.

Wyle, a privately held company, is a leading provider of high-tech aerospace engineering and information technology services to the federal government on long-term outsourcing contracts. The company also provides life sciences services for NASA’s astronaut corps as well as mission critical support including launch services and space simulation; test and evaluation of aircraft, weapon systems, networks, and other government assets; and other engineering services to the aerospace, defense, nuclear power, communications and transportation industries.
