Top aerospace companies recruit candidates at fourth annual Space Career Fair
College students in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, business administration; transitioning military; and entry-level aerospace personnel are invited to attend the fourth annual Space Career Fair in Colorado Springs. The event, hosted by the Space Foundation at the 22nd National Space Symposium, provides unique access to premier space industry professionals and the opportunity to become part of our nation’s aerospace community. The Space Career Fair will commence at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, at The Broadmoor Hotel’s West Ballroom.
“The Space Career Fair was established four years ago to address the critical need to repopulate the space industry with passionate, prepared and dedicated technical and nontechnical expertise,” states Dr. Patricia Arnold, vice president of Education and Workforce Development for the Space Foundation.
With an increasing number of participants every year, the event has succeeded in networking hundreds of promising professionals with leading space companies throughout the nation.
Space Career Fair sessions are free to students, although pre-registration is required. The first 300 participants to register and attend the “Meet the Company” presentations will gain access to a networking luncheon with sponsoring companies. Other features of the Space Career Fair include entrance to the Space Career Pavilion, where students have the opportunity to discuss possible job opportunities with exhibiting organizations, and access to the Lockheed Martin Exhibit Center at the 22nd National Space Symposium.
