CAPE CANAVERAL AIR FORCE STATION, FLA. — The launch of the Titan IV B-36 for
the National Reconnaissance Office has been delayed until early September due to
booster and payload issues.

NRO has requested Sept. 6 as the first available launch date, but the date is
subject to range availability and approval.

The booster has an erratic reading in the Stage II fuel tank sensor, and the
team is troubleshooting the cause, according to Lockheed Martin officials.

The status of the payload is not releasable due to its classified nature.
