The Aerospace Corporation Announces Leadership Changes

El Segundo, Calif. (September 16, 2014) – The Aerospace Corporation has announced several leadership changes today. 

“With these leadership changes, we will continue to deliver the highest value to all of our customers by continuing to focus on the toughest technical issues in a manner consistent with our corporate values – dedication to mission success, technical excellence, commitment to our people, objectivity, and integrity,” said Dr. Wanda Austin, president and CEO. 

Catherine Steele, vice president of Strategic Space Operations, will be promoted to senior vice president of National Systems Group and will replace Dr. Manuel De Ponte, the current senior vice president, upon his retirement on April 1, 2015. Steele, who resides in Colorado Springs, will move to Chantilly, VA on Jan. 1, 2015, to ensure a smooth transition to her new role. 

Glenn Davis, general manager for Imagery Programs Division in NSG, will be promoted to vice president, Strategic Space Operations, effective November 1, 2014.
