The 10th Annual International Space Station Research and Development Conference is Open for Registration
The 10th annual International Space Station Research and Development Conference (ISSRDC) is open for registration! The event, which will take place virtually August 3-5, is hosted by the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS), manager of the International Space Station (ISS) U.S. National Laboratory; NASA; and the American Astronautical Society.
ISSRDC brings together researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, investors, and the general public to discuss the benefits of space-based research and technology development and showcase the critical work being done on the orbiting laboratory to bring value to our nation and drive a robust and sustainable market in low Earth orbit. The theme for ISSRDC 2021 is “Challenge. Partnership. Transformation.” The virtual event is free to attend; however, registration is required.
Speakers at this year’s conference will include NASA and ISS National Lab leadership, policy makers, investigators, hardware developers, venture capitalists, and more. Sessions will explore a wide range of topics, including:
- Space policy
- Regenerative medicine
- In-space production applications
- Advanced materials
- Investment in the evolving low Earth orbit economy
- Inspiring the next generation through space-based research and programs
