Teledyne Awarded NASA Service Contract
Teledyne Technologies Incorporated (NYSE:TDY) today announced that Teledyne Brown Engineering, Inc., has been awarded a minimum value $35 million contract, over five years assuming all options are exercised, to provide propellants, pressurants and calibration services in support of NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC), in Huntsville, Ala.
Teledyne Brown has been operating and maintaining MSFC’s propellant, high-pressure and cryogenic systems for the past 32 years. Teledyne Brown employees have worked more than 1.6 million continuous hours over the past 11 years without a lost-time accident.
Teledyne Brown’s extended safety record has been recognized by MSFC through several awards and commendations including three MSFC Director’s Commendations Safety Awards, one MSFC Safety Excellence Award and two NASA Safety Awards. These awards recognized the excellent leadership and safety management procedures executed on in support of this key NASA program.

As MSFC’s prime contractor for this service, Teledyne Brown will continue to oversee the operation and maintenance of propellant and pressurants, storage and distribution systems, and calibration services related to MSFC testing and space research activities.
