The Space Shuttle Columbia is scheduled to land Feb. 1,
2003, at the Kennedy Space Center, Fla. If the Shuttle is
diverted to Edwards Air Force Base, international media must
have special accreditation for access to the installation.

International media must submit access requests to the
Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, Calif., by Jan. 13
to ensure access to Edwards Air Force Base to cover the
landing.

Foreign nationals, including media members who are permanent
resident aliens, must submit their full name; date of birth;
place of birth; citizenship; visa or passport number and
expiration date; alien registration number; employer and
employer’s location; U.S. driver’s license number and state
of issue, if applicable. No substitutions of other media
members will be allowed. Two forms of photo ID are required
at the Edwards entrance gate.

In the event of a landing at Dryden, facilities will be
available for accredited news media representatives. Media
representatives should fax a request for accreditation to
(661) 276-3566. Call the Dryden Public Affairs Office for
more information at: (661) 276-3449.
