SpaceWorks Awarded the Georgia Small Business of the Year Award by National Defense Industrial Association – Georgia Chapter
SpaceWorks Enterprises, Inc. was honored yesterday by the Georgia Chapter of the National Defense Industrial Association (NDIA) as 2015’s Georgia Small Business of the Year. Dr. John Olds, CEO of SpaceWorks, accepted the award on behalf of SpaceWorks and its family of companies, including Generation Orbit Launch Services, Inc. (GO), Terminal Velocity Aerospace, LLC (TVA), and Blink Astro, LLC (Blink).
The award ceremony was held at the Georgia Tech Research Institute (GTRI) Conference Center and featured guest speaker U.S. Congressman Austin Scott, a member of the House Armed Services Committee. Other awards given included the NDIA Citizen-Soldier Award to Mrs. Sheila McNeill of Brunswick, GA, the General James Oglethorpe Space Award to Mr. Steve Howard of St. Marys, GA, and the NDIA Volunteer of the Year Award to Mr. Barry Page of C4S2 Global.
“We are pleased to receive this award and appreciate the recognition we were given by the NDIA Georgia Chapter members,” commented Dr. Olds. “This is a very special award to our entire family of companies and we are grateful to the NDIA for selecting us.”
