Space Adventures To Unveil Milestone Announcements Regarding Future of Its Spaceflight Offerings in Celebration of 10th Anniversary

Space Adventures’ CEO Eric Anderson, commercial space pioneer Peter H. Diamandis and spaceflight participant Richard Garriott to announce new orbital spaceflight opportunity, unveil identity of future orbital client and lay out a vision for the next decade

WHAT: Space Adventures, the company that organized flights for the world’s first private space explorers including Dennis Tito, Mark Shuttleworth, Greg Olsen, Anousheh Ansari and Charles Simonyi; and the only company currently flying private citizens to space; will unveil key initiatives at a press conference, Wed., June 11 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT) in New York City.

In addition to discussing their vision of private space travel for the next 10 years, Anderson, Diamandis and Garriott will reveal the following:

  • The identity of a notable future orbital client
  • Significant announcements regarding new orbital spaceflight programming

Garriott – preeminent game developer and son of NASA Skylab Astronaut Owen
Garriott – is currently in cosmonaut training in preparation for his spaceflight currently scheduled for launch en-route to the International Space Station on October 12, 2008 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan.
