Smith Announces New House Science, Space, and Technology Committee Leadership
Washington D.C. Science, Space, and Technology Committee Chairman Lamar Smith (R-Texas) today announced Representative Brian Babin (R-Texas) will serve as Chairman of the Space Subcommittee and Representative Steve Knight (R-Calif.) will serve as Vice-Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee.
Chairman Lamar Smith: “The Science Committee has already been hard at work this Congress promoting legislation that advances America’s space and energy interests. I am pleased to welcome Representative Babin as Chairman of the Space Subcommittee and Representative Steve Knight as Vice-Chairman of the Energy Subcommittee. Congressmen Babin and Knight have proven to be knowledgeable and capable members of this Committee, and I look forward to working with them in their new leadership roles.”
