Senate Roundtable on Space Tax Incentive Legislation

The Space Roundtable will hold its seventh meeting at the United States
Senate on Wednesday, July 25th at 12:00 noon. Titled “Incentives for Space
Investment: From the Ground Up” this program will explore three pieces of
legislation currently under consideration by the House of Representatives.
The sponsor of each bill will address the Roundtable on the details of thei=
r
proposal:

1) HR 1931: The Spaceport Equality Act. (Rep. Dave Weldon and 18
co-sponsors) Senator Bob Graham will introduce the Senate version of this
bill on July 25th and speak about it at the Roundtable

2) HR 2177: The Invest In Space Now Act. (Rep. Ken Calvert and Rep.
Solomon Ortiz and 22 co-sponsors). Mr. Calvert will appear at the
Roundtable to talk about his bill.

3) HR 2504: The Zero Gravity, Zero Tax Act (Rep. Dana Rohrabacher and Rep.
Jane Harman with Mr. Calvert). Introduced just this past Monday. Mr.
Rohrabacher will join the Roundtable to discuss the highlights.
