Rocketplane Kistler to Partner with The Connell Whittaker Group, LLC for Life Science and Bioscience Outreach
OKLAHOMA CITY, OK: AUGUST 10, 2006: Rocketplane Kistler (RpK) has agreed to partner with The Connell Whittaker Group, LLC to reach out to the Science and Research communities. RpK is currently a finalist in NASA’s Commercial Orbital Transportation Services (COTS) competition to provide resupply services to the International Space Station.
George French, RpK’s CEO and Chairman of the Board said, “The nation’s science and research communities have always been constrained by the high cost of launch. RpK’s Rocketplane XP and K-1 launch vehicles will provide the low cost access to space that will enable the nation’s full exploitation of research opportunities there. Rocketplane Kistler’s K-1 launch system’s hardware is 75% complete, and is scheduled for first flight in 2008. Rocketplane Kistler’s sub-orbital XP Spaceplane is 50% complete, and scheduled for first flight in late 2008.
