Rocket Launch from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility

A Terrier-Lynx suborbital rocket was successfully launched this morning at 12:27 a.m. EDT for the Department of Defense from NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia.

The next scheduled launch from Wallops is Orbital Sciences’ Antares rocket carrying Orbital’s Cygnus cargo carrier to the International Space Station at 7:52 p.m., Friday, October 24.  This launch should be highly visible to residents in the mid-Atlantic region.
