The National Space Club and Foundation issued a statement today announcing the 63rd  Annual Goddard Memorial Dinner has been rescheduled for Friday, September 25, 2020.
Hosted by the Washington Hilton, the 63rd Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner is the major event of the Space and Defense Industry in Washington, DC. The dinner brings together aerospace champions from industry, senators, members of congress and top officials from government agencies for a prestigious dinner designed to honor their accomplishments and encourage the next generation of aerospace leaders.

Awards will be presented at the Goddard Dinner on September 25th for accomplishments in spaceflight, engineering, science, technology, management and education. This year’s premier award, the Goddard Trophy, will be presented to William H. Gerstenmaier for his significant contribution to U.S. leadership in the field of rocketry and astronautics.

The 63rd Goddard Memorial Dinner was originally scheduled for Friday, March 20th, but was postponed because of the unfolding Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic. We will continue to monitor all of the public health reports and adhere to all of the federal, state, and local orders regarding public assemblies but we have confidence in planning ahead for a future that brings our space community together to recognize our exceptional award winners and their accomplishments.

The registration fees paid to attend the 63rd Annual Goddard Dinner will be automatically transferred to the rescheduled program, which will be on Friday, September 25th, 2020. Individuals choosing not to attend the rescheduled Dinner are asked to notify the National Space Club, no later than May 15, 2020.
