Renowned Author Dr. Ben Bova Joins Galaxyonline.com as Supersite Publisher and Senior Vice President

that renowned author and futurist Dr. Ben Bova has recently signed on
as supersite publisher and senior vice president. Bova is considered
one of the world’s preeminent authorities on the future, and is well
known to audiences worldwide from his many books and his role with
Omni magazine, where he set the tone of the successful publication
while he served as editorial director.
Bova is uniquely qualified for his role with Galaxyonline.com, as
he is the author of over 95 futuristic novels and nonfiction books.
His newest novel, entitled “Venus,” is set to debut in April, and will
coincide with a book tour at several of the country’s most prestigious
schools, museums and planetariums. Bova, who holds a doctorate in
education, views his role with Galaxyonline.com as one of the most
exciting opportunities of his career.

National Space Society, and is a past president of Science fiction and

Today, the Arizona Astronomy Board, and has appeared on hundreds of
television broadcasts as a regular guest, including “Good Morning
America,” and “Today,” as well as teaching science fiction at Harvard
University. Bova has been a member of the Steering Committee for the
NASA/Space Transportation Association study on space tourism, and has
served on panels of the Office of Technology Assessment. He is a
Fellow of the British Interplanetary Society. Prior to his role with
Omni, Bova served as editor of Analog magazine, and has many awards to
his credit, including six Hugo’s for science fiction achievement, The
Isaac Asimov Memorial Award, and the Inkpot Award for his outstanding
achievements in science fiction.
