RADARSAT-2 has been successfully launched
MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd., a provider of essential information solutions, announced today that the RADARSAT-2 satellite has been launched into its proper orbit.
Daniel Friedmann, MDA’s president and CEO said ‘We are very pleased to see the RADARSAT-2 satellite successfully placed in orbit, and wish to thank our many dedicated employees and partners that worked on this exciting mission.’
RADARSAT-2 is the result of a unique collaboration between MDA and the Canadian Space Agency.
