Public Invited to Hear about NASA’s Future Plans to Explore The Solar System

CLEVELAND — Have you ever wondered about what’s new in our solar system? Learn more about what’s happening and why exploring the solar system is important to the nation at Lake Erie Nature & Science Center on Thursday, Nov. 3 at 7 p.m.

W. James Adams, deputy chief of NASA’s Planetary Sciences Division, will talk about NASA’s accomplishments in venturing into the solar system and its exciting plans for exploring space in the next few decades. The presentation is free and no reservations are required.

The talk will include contributions to planetary science by NASA’s Glenn Research Center and the state of Ohio. Adams will also give a brief account of the current flight missions and discoveries that will follow.

Adams has contributed to the design, development, test and operations of more than 24 launched spacecraft and has received three NASA medals recognizing exceptional service and leadership at NASA.

NASA Glenn representatives will also be in attendance and available to answer questions.
