Xenesis, Inc., a leading innovator in free space optical communications technology is pleased to announce that Ronald Van Der Breggen has joined Xenesis’ Advisory Board. With over 25 years in the telecom / satellite sector, Van Der Breggen brings significant experience and wisdom to the table. From 2015-2019 Van Der Breggen served as the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) with LeoSat where he was able to secure $2 billion in pre-launch commitments. Recently LeoSat pivoted their focus due to unforeseen challenges with investors leaving a large business opportunity that Xenesis is eager and ready to fulfill.

Van Der Breggen stated, “With my extensive experience in both telecom and space, it is my firm belief that satellites have a critical role to play in the current and future data communication challenges. While today the Space industry is providing critical services connecting the unconnected at the edge of terrestrial networks, Xenesis is set up to provide the much needed interoperability, security and performance that are essential to the core of these networks.” Van Der Breggen went on to state that he is” very much looking forward to working with Xenesis to set up and execute the best possible strategy to ensure the success of the company, which in turn will help address today’s data communication challenges on a global scale.”

Xenesis is thrilled to welcome Ronald Van Der Breggen’s to his new seat on the Advisory Board and is prepared to collaborate in order to achieve some long held goals of making our technology readily available to benefit the future of communication. Xenesis Chief of Staff Victoria Philip added “Xenesis was just listed as one of the best key players in the Satellite Laser Communication System Market Report, standing next to companies we admire or are partnered with such as Airbus, Space Micro, SpaceX, Atlas, and adding an individual like Ronald Van Der Breggen to our well respected and forward thinking Board of Advisors will help to ensure our continued success. Van Der Breggen offers incredible value for strategic commercialization so the timing of this addition couldn’t be better.” Van Der Breggen started his career at Dutch Telecom incumbent KPN rising to Vice President IP Services then went on to work at SES, one of the world’s leading satellite operators, as the VP of Account Management. Today Van Der Breggen continues to help companies with brilliant technology achieve success through his decades of experience and large industry network.

“Xenesis has been on a long road to relevancy, interoperability, partnership, and revenue. In 2021 we grossed over $1 million by securing a business model that works and the market has reacted positively,” stated Xenesis CEO Mark LaPenna. “We are ecstatic to add Van Der Breggen to our success as he has truly established himself as a top mind. Initially we disagreed deeply but over the past 2 years Ronald spent the time to establish a deep relationship with Xenesis and now we see eye to eye on many things, especially where the market is and what it really wants. We welcome Ronald with open arms and we are a better company for having him,”
