Syncom Space Services LLC (S3) has been re-awarded a contract from the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to support the Synergy Achieving Consolidated Operations and Maintenance (SACOM) program. The value of this performance-based hybrid contract has a maximum value of $1.2B, with a one-year base period and seven option periods totaling nine years and five months.

The SACOM award is a consolidation of contracts at two NASA facilities – the Stennis Space Center (SSC) in Hancock County, Mississippi, and the Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) in New Orleans, Louisiana. The S3 team will provide centralized management of the facility operations and maintenance requirements and the test and manufacturing services at SSC and MAF.

“We are honored and excited to be chosen for this important work, and we look forward to working in partnership with NASA to realize synergies through the effective management of these two independent facilities,” said Mike Matteson, President of Syncom Space Services LLC. “The S3 team brings decades of experience in the efficient and secure management of critical infrastructure as well as the management of complex and high-consequence production facilities. Our team understands the respective missions and unique requirements of these two national assets and is proud to support their critical work.”
