Number of National Space Symposium Registrants Rising at Record Pace

The Space Foundation announced today that a
record number of registrants and exhibitors have
signed on for the 17th National Space Symposium,
which takes place April 9-12, 2001 in Colorado
Springs at the Broadmoor Hotel. The National
Space Symposium, conducted by the Space
Foundation, is widely regarded as the premier
U.S. space policy and program forum, with
industry leaders representing the commercial,
government and national security space sectors.

According to the Foundation, more than 600
industry, military, and government personnel
have registered for the Symposium, a 46%
increase from the same period in 2000. The
amount of total exhibitors has also increased
this year, with 83 exhibitors currently in place
and only a handful of empty spaces left to fill
the 27,000-sq. ft. exhibit center. Total exhibit
square footage increased 5,000 feet.

Symposium keynote speakers include:

* Gen. Ed Eberhart, USAF, Commander in Chief,
