The European Space Agency (ESA), in collaboration with the Norwegian Centre for Space-related Education (NAROM) and the Norwegian Space Centre (NSC) are happy to announce they are now accepting applications for the inaugural Fly a rocket! programme.

The Fly a rocket! programme is open for individual applications from today and the call will close on the 23rd of October.

The Fly a rocket! programme will select up to 20 European students and take them through an online training course with personalized feedback, teaching students about everything from rocket dynamics to satellite orbit.

In March 2017 the selected students will be invited to the Andøya Space Center in Northern Noway, where they will form teams to construct, test and launch their own sounding rocket. Attendance, including travel and accomodation is sponsored by ESA, NAROM and the NSC.

ESA is particularly interested in applications from bachelors students in their first and second year of studies who may be considering a career in space or related industries.
