National Space Club and Foundation Announces COVID-19 Plans for 2022 Goddard Dinner

Washington, D.C. (January 26, 2022) The National Space Club and Foundation is pleased to announce that the 2022 Dr. Robert H. Goddard Memorial Dinner will be held on Friday, March 18th at the Washington Hilton.   
The National Space Club and Foundation seeks to provide a safe and healthy environment for all of our guests and will follow all required Federal and District of Columbia protocols. Per Mayor’s Order 2021-148, only individuals fully-vaccinated against COVID-19 will be permitted entry to the Goddard Memorial Dinner. All attendees will be asked to show a proof of vaccination prior to entry. Details on providing proof of vaccination will be provided to all attendees in advance of the dinner. Individuals with a medical or religious exemption should contact the Space Club for additional details. 
Pursuant to the Mayor’s order, masks will also be required when not eating or drinking.
The Goddard Memorial Dinner is the major event of the Space and Defense Industry in Washington, DC. The dinner brings together aerospace champions from the industry, in addition to Senators, Congressmen and top officials from the Air Force, Department of Defense, Navy, NASA, NRO, NGA, and NOAA for a prestigious dinner designed to honor their accomplishments and encourage the next generation of aerospace leaders.
We will continue to monitor all of the public health reports and adhere to all of the federal, state, and local orders regarding public assemblies.
